Ben Jones

Ben's main role involves making sure that what is due to the company is received from the various product providers and fund managers. He also deals with the administration of creating invoices and paying what the company is due to others. He produces reports for the directors and on a day to day basis deals with hundreds of transactions.

Ben joined in May 2010, initially to assist with a massive project to scan and archive documents which were taking up many filing cabinets. When the role of accounts administrator became free, it was a natural progression for him.

What do you enjoy about your job?

"All the people are really nice and it's a very nurturing environment to work in. Apparently I have a good eye for detail and this work gives me a sense of balance which compliments my music interests."

Ben studied at Poole Grammar then did a National Diploma in arts and design at Bournemouth Arts Institute.

Hobbies and interests

"I have been very involved in music of all kinds. I play anything and everything from Reggae to Jazz, Hip Hop to Drum and Bass. I play guitar, bass, piano, drums and sing. I am writing and recording music and play with a couple of bands. I also enjoy graphic design and illustrations, mainly as a hobby, occasionally I'll do odd bits and bobs to help other musicians."
